Quick Blueberry Crisp

Given below is the quick blueberry crisp recipe. This Valentines Day recipe could be tried anytime.



15 oz each, blue berrises drained ( reserve syrup for pancakes or dessert sauce)
1 tblsp lemon juice
2/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup all-purpose flour, unsifted
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1/4 cup butter or margarine, at room temperature
Ice cream of your choice.


How to make blue berry crisp:
  • Place blueberries in a buttered, shallow casserole ( about 6 1/2 by 9 1/2 inches)
  • Sprinkle with lemon juice.
  • Mix brown sugar flour salt and nutmeg
  • Cut in butter or margarine until crumbly.
  • Cover berries with brown sugar mixture.
  • Bake in a 400 “ over for 15 to 20 minutes or until bubbly
