WINE GLAZED FRUIT RECIPE
Ingredients:
1 lb cling peach halves, drained
about 8 oz sliced pineapple drained
2 bananas, cut into quarters
3 tblsp firmly packed brown sugar
3 tblsp soft butter or margarine
Dash ground cloves
Dash Salt
1/4 cup Muscatel or Port
How to make
wine glazed fruit:
- Place fruits in a foil-lines shallow baking pan.
- Blend brown sugar and soft butter with cloves and salt.
- Dot over fruits
- Pour wine over fruits and broil
- Basting frequently until lightly browned ( about 8 minutes)
